Parting Schotts: MLB Network to televise Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremonies Sunday

MLB Network will have coverage of the National Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremonies from Cooperstown on Sunday.

The telecast starts at 11:30 a.m. Hall of Fame Awards Presentation, which will be held Saturday. Tim McCarver will receive the Ford C. Frick Award for baseball broadcasting; Toronto Sun national baseball columnist Bob Elliott will get the J.G. Taylor Spink Award for his contributions to baseball writing; and all of the living managers who have managed the St. Louis Cardinals to World Series titles -- Whitey Herzog, Tony La Russa and Red Schoendienst -- will be honored.

A special edition of "MLB Tonight" will air at 12:30 p.m., and that will lead into the induction ceremonies at 1:30 p.m. Cincinnati Reds shortstop Barry Larkin and the late Chicago Cubs legend Ron Santo will be inducted.
